IYEC/Van Vicker has different developmental projects to help young people in Ghana and other African countries as well as the less deprived. We as an organization believe that education is an essential tool in the development of every nation. Most children have not become useful resources to their countries due to the fact that they have been deprived of their basic education, who is to be blamed? This is as a result of poverty. Some families can’t afford to take their children to school since the means is not there. These children end up in being non useful resources to the nation since they rather end up in immoral activities like robbery, fighting, and many other more. To protect the future of a developing country like Ghana and other African countries IYEC has made it a point to help make a difference in the lives of young children who have not had the opportunity to be in school. It is the biggest dream of IYEC to build schools and youth centres to help the youth of today become useful citizens. IYEC calls upon individual, companies and organizations to give a helping hand in our developmental projects. Donations in all various forms are welcomed by IYEC.
